On Monday, December 9, the Academic Senate voted in favor of a resolution supporting the IT Strategic Plan.
The Daily Illini has more information about the Senate’s vote.
An article in today’s edition of the Daily Illini looked at the Urbana-Champaign Senate Executive Committee voting in favor of a resolution in support of the IT Strategic Plan.
Now that the Senate Executive Committee has voted, the full Senate will vote on the resolution at its next meeting which will be held on Monday, December 9.
The IT Strategic Plan Symposium will take place tomorrow from 1-5 pm in the Illini Union (Illini Room B). From 5-6 pm there will be a wine and cheese reception which will give attendees a chance to talk to campus IT leaders about the IT Strategic Plan and technology at the University of Illinois.
If you are unable to make it to the Symposium in person, CITES will be providing a live stream of the event. All you have to do to reach the live stream is to visit this page.
There will also be a video recording of the event that will be posted to the IT Strategic Plan site in the near future.
We hope to see you at the Illini Union tomorrow afternoon!
